‘Tis the Season to Get Social!

Published: 17/12/2021

Faye Shaw, Head of Social Media for Paul Carr Estate Agents explains how your estate agent’s social media presence and buy in will get you moving in 2022.

I have a hugely exciting role in ensuring that our ‘with your every step of the way’ value, now resonates through the ever evolving, and popular world of social media, driving our business into the future, and ensuring that your property journey, sits at the forefront of possibility within the social world that we now live in.

Why use social?

In the seventeen years since Facebook launched among a group of Harvard students, social media has become crucial to the way brands interact with their public – and that includes the property sector.

And this new way of communication won’t be going away any time soon. In 2021, 4.48 billion people were actively using social media in the world, and this is an increase of 13.13% year-on-year from 3.69 billion in 2020.

The instant, shareable nature of the platforms, means that an effective social media strategy can raise awareness of your home, within seconds and to a worldwide audience.

How we do it

Paul Carr Estate agents, take advantage of all aspects of social media when engaging with potential buyers. Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn can showcase direct campaigns of your home, including open houses, videos and focused photography, ultimately making sure that your property receives the widest digital exposure possible.

Social media is constantly evolving, and at Paul Carr Estate Agents, we are always looking for new, and exciting ways to engage with our audience and build our exposure on socials, to ensure your home is shown to as many potential buyers as possible. We do this by working with you, to create a strategy either at initial marketing stage, or further into your property journey, to ensure at all times, your home is being proactively marketed to the widest audience.

Be at the forefront

And socials isn’t just for sellers. If you’re looking for a home, following us on social media is a great way to see a ‘sneak peek’ – a fantastic preview of our properties, yet to reach the large portals and our website. It can get you ahead of the crowd with searching new homes, benefitting from our social campaigns and offers, and even building knowledge of the local areas we cover and what they have to offer. And if you want to get in touch, we can even ask for homes in certain areas that are of interest to you, by reaching out to our audience. You will find advice on mortgages, conveyancing and market updates and if we don’t know the answer, we can point you in the direction of the department or office that will!

Get social

So, if the agent you’re considering isn’t yet on socials, or doesn’t speak about how social media marketing is now one of the fastest growing and popular ways of buying and selling homes, then perhaps give our social channels a look, and see how we can ensure your home, or your property search, can begin with Paul Carr Estate Agents.
